Objectif de développement
The objectives are to improve the provision of adequate water and wastewater
services in Gaza and functionally strengthen the newly established Coastal
Municipalities Water Utility as independent well-run modern utility.1. Ensure proper operation of water and Sanitation services in Gaza2. Improve the quality of drinking water and the treatment of wastwater3. Institutional Support to the newly established Water Utility in Gaza4.Assist the Palestinian Water Authority to exercise its regulatory role5. Procurement of all necessary goods, works and services.3/5/08. Board approval date slipped from 3/18/08 to 4/22/08 due to delays in concluding negotiations with the Palestinian Authority.12/2/09. Task Team Leader changed from Khairy Al-Jamal (UPI#162702) to Richard Pollard effective October 19, 2009.10/21/10. Following Sector Manager's instructions, Task Team Leader changed from Richard Pollard to Zeyad Abu-Hassanein (UPI#324171) effective October 1, 2010.
